I started my role-playing life with the infamous Dungeons & Dragons “Red Box” back in 198 (cough, cough). I then went on to some home-brewed fun and AD&D, and then 2nd Edition AD&D. I’ve experimented with some other games such as Vampire: The Masquerade, Ars Magica, RuneQuest, Star Frontiers, Toon, and Tales from the Floating Vagabond. Right now I’m playing in a Pathfinder campaign. On “the Portal” (as the young kids call it—right…) I am running my first Pathfinder Campaign (“Shadows of the Rift”) and a Dresden Files campaign (“The Dresden Files: Portland”), as well as a Deadlands Classic campaign and (now) a 7th Sea (2nd edition) campaign. I also had a pretty successful Serenity RPG campaign that is currently on hiatus (but I plan to come back to someday).

I currently live in North Texas in the lovely city of Denton (“The Home of Happiness“) with my lovely wife and the obligatory demon-spawn cats. When not writing, gaming, or watching cheezy kung-fu flicks, I can sometimes be found in a pub (or the American equivalent) enjoying a fine brew.
